So I went to the Coldplay Mylo Xyloto concert in Melbourne last Tuesday and it was AMAZING!

Towards the start of the concert during ‘In My Place’ in the chorus they shot confetti EVERYWHERE all over the arena and it was incredible and like the nutter I am, I made a grab for all the confetti I could get…which wasn’t much.

So at the end of the concert when we were walking out I grabbed handfuls upon handfuls of the stuff and put it into my bag with no idea as to what I was going to do with it. But then I had an idea this Tuesday to make a collage out of it, which is exactly what I did.

So I grabbed my bag with the confetti in it and got all the crumpled piece of confetti and got all the pieces, salvaged the non-marked and non-ripped ones, ironed them on a low heat to get most of the creases out of them and then got low tack spray on adhesive and a cardboard sheet and voila! Coldplay Confetti Collage!

It now hangs proudly in my room as a reminder of how amazing my first ever concert was.

Last night.

Okay, you can bitch and moan all you want about Coldplay and can even genuinely dislike their music but I swear, you have not fucking LIVED until you’ve gone to one of their shows.

I’m not even a diehard fan and I was so incredibly blown away by the magnificent set-up at the performance. The lights, confetti, fireworks, props, videos, all of it was so visually delicious to witness it’s like you’re at an art/lights show and a concert all at the same time.

They threw themselves into every single song they played and had so much fun up on stage. Chris Martin has an amazingly infectious, exuberant stage presence and they are all so talented and engaging.

Just….wow.

Ps, it’s literally ridiculous how little justice these photos do to the concert.
